BST HYDE PARK
British music icons Duran Duran have

BST Hyde Park. The band will take to the
Great Oak Stage on Sunday 5 July,
joined by special guests Scissor Sisters.
Duran Duran’s return promises a
standout night from one of pop’s most
influential and enduring bands. With over
100 million records sold worldwide, the
Birmingham-formed group has delivered
era-defining hits including ‘Rio,’ ‘Hungry
Like the Wolf,’ ‘Girls on Film,’ and
‘Ordinary World.’ Longtime members
Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor
and Roger Taylor remain known for their
electrifying performances and pioneering
synth-pop sound.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
inductees continue to draw global
audiences, following their 2023 album
Danse Macabre, a Halloween-themed
release featuring collaborations with
Victoria De Angelis, Nile Rodgers, Andy
Taylor and Warren Cuccurullo. The
project later expanded with additional
releases and singles, maintaining
momentum ahead of new music
expected this year.
Live, the band remain a powerful
draw, selling out arenas across the UK
and North America on their Future Past
Tour and staging a landmark Halloween
show in Manchester. Their 2026 plans
include vinyl reissues, a Las Vegas
residency, European dates and their
return to Hyde Park. Joining them are
New York pop favourites Scissor Sisters,
who reunited in 2025 to mark the 20th
anniversary of their debut album. After a
sold-out UK arena tour, a Glastonbury
performance and a co-headline US tour
with Kesha, they return with their
flamboyant, genre-blending hits
including ‘Take Your Mama,’ ‘I Don’t Feel
Like Dancin’,’ and ‘Let’s Have a Kiki,’
promising a high-energy summer
performance.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE
As one of the defining indie‑rock
bands of the 21st century, Death Cab for
Cutie have spent over 30 years shaping
alternative music. Frontman Ben
Gibbard’s introspective songwriting and
the band’s melodic, emotionally resonant
sound quickly earned them a devoted
global following.
From early indie releases like
Something About Airplanes to
mainstream breakthroughs with 2003’s
Transatlanticism and 2005’s Plans, DCfC
have become cultural touchstones.
They’ve released ten studio albums,
earned eight Grammy nominations, and
celebrated milestone anniversary tours
that have sold out major venues
worldwide.
In September 2026, Death Cab for
Cutie bring their immersive live show to
London’s Troxy as part of a UK and
European tour. The band plays Troxy on
25 and 26 September, offering fans a
rare chance to experience a setlist
spanning deep cuts, fan favourites, and
recent material from their acclaimed
catalog. The Troxy shows mark two of
the band’s few UK headline dates in
2026, and are poised to be standout
moments in their touring year. Across
their career, DCfC’s live performances
have been celebrated for their emotional
intensity, rich production, and
connection with audiences – from
intimate theatre gigs to arena stages.
Reflecting on their enduring appeal,
Gibbard has said that writing music that
‘soundtracks moments in people’s lives’
keeps fans returning show after show.
The 25 September Troxy concerts
promise that same experience: a night of
thoughtful lyricism, melancholic
melodies, and the kind of live
performance that has defined Death Cab
for Cutie for more than three decades.
