and appearances under his belt, has also
moved into the world of film, working on
several different film projects. All this, as
well as starring in theatrical productions:
Grease: The Musical, Thriller and The
Best of Franki Valli and the Four
Seasons.
Since opening in August 2019,
Mamma Mia! The Party London has
welcomed over 700,000 guests,
delivered over 1500 performances, and
has been visited by visitors from 110
countries. The production is currently
booking until April 2027.
WEST END LIVE RETURNS TO
TRAFALGAR SQUARE
West End LIVE will return to Trafalgar
Square on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21
June, with a packed line-up of top West
End shows. Hailed as ‘Glastonbury for
theatre lovers’, West End LIVE is Europe’s
largest free musical theatre festival which,
each year, showcases outstanding
performances from over 50 London
musicals.
Tens of thousands of theatre fans are
set to descend on the capital for this
unique event, presented by Westminster
City Council and the Society of London
Theatre. West End LIVE brings audiences
of all ages into the heart of the city to
celebrate the very best of the West End,
from its world-class theatre and culture to
its vibrant food, drink, fashion, nightlife
and retail scene, delivering a significant
boost to Westminster’s local economy and
championing the creative industries.

PETER ANDRE JOINS MAMMA MIA!
THE PARTY
Mamma Mia! The Party at London’s
O2 has Peter Andre and Sam Bailey
joining the cast from 14 May.
Peter Andre will play the role of Nikos
for a limited run of performances until
23 July, while X Factor winner Sam
Bailey will step into the role of Debbie
until 4 April, 2027.
Mamma Mia! The Party is London’s
premier theatrical dining experience,
bringing ABBA’s hits to life more vividly
than ever before. As the sun sets in
Skopelos, guests take their seats at
Nikos’ family-run taverna where they
enjoy a delicious four-course Greek
feast, whilst a romantic and heartwarming story unfolds all around them.
Following the performance, which is
filled with timeless ABBA anthems such
as Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and
Waterloo, guests are encouraged to sing
and dance the night away at a glittering
ABBA disco.
Peter Andre is an accomplished
global media star, known for his
successful music, television, and stage
career. At the height of his music
success in the 90s, he became the sixth
highest selling artist in the UK with a
string of number one hit singles and

West End LIVE is also committed to
delivering the event in a way that is
environmentally responsible. By
embedding sustainability and inclusivity
at its core, the initiative is setting a
benchmark for how major cultural events
can responsibly serve audiences, artists
and the city alike.
MARIANNE ELLIOTT’S PRODUCTION
OF LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES
Marianne Elliott’s major striking new
staging of Les Liaisons Dangereuses is
playing at the Lyttelton theatre until
6 June. Christopher Hampton’s acclaimed
adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’
epistolary novel – a thrilling game of love,
lies and social warfare – has had a
refreshed script for its first ever staging at
the National which will also be screened
in cinemas worldwide via National Theatre
Live from 25 June.
