FINAL EXTENSION OF HERCULES AT THEATRE ROYAL DRURY LANE
Disney Theatrical Group have announced the company for the final extension of
Hercules at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where the production will continue its run
through to 5 September. The cast is led by Bradley Gibson in the title role, joined by
Leslie Beehan, Mimy Durrand, Candace Furbert, Malinda Parris, Paige Peddie, Mae
Ann Jorolan and Emilie Ruddock as the Muses. The stage adaptation is inspired by
Disney’s 1997 animated film and features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David
Zippel, and a book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, with co-direction and
choreography by Casey Nicholaw and Tanisha Scott. The original film, directed by
John Musker and Ron Clements, received an Academy Award nomination for Best
Original Song for ‘Go the Distance’. Since premiering in London, the production has
continued Disney Theatrical Group’s long-standing presence in the West End,
combining large-scale staging with contemporary reinterpretations of the studio’s

optimistic, crystal-obsessed life coach,
Delia Deetz, in Beetlejuice The Musical.
Summer appears as Lydia’s bereaved
father, Charles Deetz’s fiancée, played by
Alasdair Harvey, offering him upbeat
support and new-age wisdom as he
finads his way in a new family dynamic.
Based on Tim Burton’s beloved movie
classic, this wildly funny – and weirdly
life-affirming – musical tells the tale of
Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual
teenager sharing her home with a pair of
newly-deads and the demonic ghostwith-the-most, Beetlejuice. He’s dead
trouble, but if you really want to feel
alive, just say his name three times...
With a gleefully irreverent book,
head-spinning set design, and a score
that’s out of this Netherworld, Beetlejuice
is a ‘feast for the eyes and soul’
