production of Porter’s musical
masterpiece, High Society.
Opening on 19 May for an eight-week
season, this musical masterpiece will
star Helen George and Felicity Kendal
making their much-anticipated return to
the West End.
This sumptuous new production is
brought to life by an multi-award
winning creative team, including
renowned director Rachel Kavanaugh
(currently directing Hugh Bonneville in
Shadowlands at the Aldwych Theatre),
legendary choreographer Anthony Van
Laast (Mamma Mia, Kiss Me, Kate) with
musical supervision by Stephen Ridley
(The King and I, Anything Goes) leading
a full orchestra, will immerse audiences
in a dazzling world of champagnesparkled evenings, razor-sharp comedy,
and the timeless sophistication of Cole
Porter in one of the great classic
musicals of all time.
With music and lyrics by Cole Porter
and a book by Arthur Kopit, this
glittering new production promises a
heady cocktail of romance, wit, mistaken
identity and irresistible musical charm.
Featuring Porter classics such as Who
Wants To Be A Millionaire, I Love Paris,
Well Did You Evah?, Just One Of Those
Things, Let’s Misbehave, You’re
Sensational, and the swooningly
romantic True Love, High Society will be
the unmissable musical event of the
year.

new production as plans for the society
wedding of the year descend into chaos,
with old flames and new flames vying for

reporter hunts for scandal at the

JAMIE MUSCATO SOLO CONCERT
AT THEATRE ROYAL DRURY LANE
West End star Jamie Muscato is
bringing his solo concert to Theatre
Royal Drury Lane on 22 March.
The concert coincides with the release
of Jamie’s new album Live London 2024
which was recorded from his sell-out
shows at Cadogan Hall last year.
Jamie Muscato recently starred in The
Great Gatsby where he originated the
role, in the UK, of Jay Gatsby at the
London Coliseum and is widely known
for his portrayal of JD in the original UK
cast of Heathers at The Other Palace and
the Haymarket Theatre.
HERCULES ORIGINAL LONDON CAST
RECORDING BRAND-NEW REMIX
With Disney’s Hercules currently
running at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane
in London’s West End, and the release of
the Original London Cast Recording on
vinyl, CD and digitally, one of the
production’s most-loved songs Great
Bolts of Thunder is being released as a
single remixed by electronic music duo
Basement Jaxx.
Basement Jaxx are one of the most
pioneering and important dance acts of
the past 30 years who have released
huge global hits including Red Alert and
Where’s Your Head At. This brand-new
version of Great Bolts of Thunder brings
a whole new energy and sound to this
much loved classic whilst allowing the
power of the vocal to remain central to
the track... so now The Muses will
inhabit the theatres and late night
dancefloors!

digitally Hercules Original London Cast
Recording – a cast recording that
combines the classic Disney songs
made famous by the 1997 Hercules
movie such as ‘Go the Distance’, ‘Zero to
Hero’ and ‘I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)’,
with brand new songs also written by
Alan Menken (music) and David Zippel
(lyrics) specifically for the musical.
Disney’s Hercules is now playing at
Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s
West End. The album is available to
