JO – THE LITTLE WOMEN MUSICAL
IN CONCERT
Jo – The Little Women Musical in
Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime, starstudded theatrical event that reimagines
Louisa May Alcott’s beloved Little
Women through a bold and contemporary
musical lens. The semi-staged concert
will be at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on
25 January.
Featuring a sweeping, timeless score,
this concert presentation brings the world
of the March sisters to life with emotional
depth, warmth, and a fresh sense of
immediacy. The result is an experience
that feels both beautifully familiar and
thrillingly new – an inspiring journey that
invites audiences to rediscover the power
of storytelling.
At the heart of this iconic coming-ofage tale is Jo March, one of literature’s
most enduring and relatable heroines.
Fiercely passionate, imaginative, and
unwilling to accept the limitations placed
before her, Jo channels her grief over the
loss of her sister into the story that shapes
her identity and future.
Her search for purpose, voice, and
belonging continues to resonate across
generations. This captivating new musical
is for anyone who has ever dreamed
boldly, questioned their path, or longed to
share their truth with the world.
With music by Dan Redfeld and book
and lyrics by Christina Harding and John
Gabriel Koladziej, Jo – The Little Women
Musical is directed and choreographed by
JoAnn M. Hunter, whose acclaimed
Broadway career spans twenty
productions, including Bad Cinderella and
School of Rock.
