12 years ago this month, Mischief’s Landmark Comedy
THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG began performances at the Duchess
Theatre, and today it continues to play to a packed house of all ages every
night. More and more we are seeing that the British public crave joyous,
live experiences that allow them to switch off from the world
and share the laughter with those around them – and happily
that’s exactly what Mischief provide!
To go from playing to just four paying audience members above the Red
Lion Theatre Pub in 2012 to becoming the longest-running comedy in the
West End is a tremendous journey for the Mischief troupe’s first
production, and we are excited that Mischief’s newest work is also proving
extremely popular.
THE COMEDY ABOUT SPIES, featuring many of the original Mischief
cast members, continues to run at the Adelphi Theatre until the end of the
month, and CHRISTMAS CAROL GOES WRONG returns to the West End
this Christmas at the Wyndham’s Theatre as part of a second UK tour.
With further exciting announcements on the horizon, we hope audiences
continue to join us in London for Mischief’s hilarious escapades.
Hamish, age 10, recently said THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG was
‘the best show he’d ever seen’ and we hold that review in the same
regard as any critic, if not higher.
