BALLET NIGHTS CELEBRATES THIRD
BIRTHDAY
Ballet Nights marks its third birthday at
Cadogan Hall on 28 September at 19:30,
bringing together an exceptional line-up
of ballet, contemporary dance and live
music for its twelfth edition. Following a
summer of sold-out performances across
the UK, Ballet Nights 012 welcomes an
extraordinary gathering of leading artists,
including Royal Ballet Principals Yasmine
Naghdi and Reece Clarke, and English
National Ballet Principals Sangeun Lee
and Gareth Haw. The programme will also
feature Royal Ballet Soloist Harris Bell,
James Wilton Dance, choreographer and
dancer Liam Woodvine, and students from
English National Ballet School.
Adding an international dimension,
Cape Town City Ballet – the oldest ballet
company in the southern hemisphere –
makes its UK return, with Soloist Hannah
Ward and Principal Leusson Muniz
performing two works. Their appearance
reflects Ballet Nights’ commitment to
broadening the dance landscape and
connecting London audiences with artists
and companies from around the world.
Music remains central to the Ballet
Nights experience, with Quartet Concrète
joined by acclaimed ENO baritone Patrick
Keefe for an extract from The Barber of
Seville. The evening will also see Anaish
Yilma-Parmar take on the role of compère
for the first time.
Since launching in 2023, Ballet Nights
has presented more than 100 artists and
50 choreographers, including 12 new
commissions. With its distinctive blend of
established stars, emerging talent and
innovative programming, the platform
continues to challenge traditional
perceptions of ballet while creating an
accessible and dynamic experience for
audiences.
For dance enthusiasts and newcomers
alike, this landmark performance promises
an inspiring evening celebrating artistry,
collaboration and the continuing evolution
of ballet.
