This Christmas, London’s Southbank
Centre will come alive with the glamour
and romance of Top Hat, the dazzling
stage musical based on the beloved
1935 Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers
film. Following a sold-out run at
Chichester Festival Theatre and a
nationwide tour, the show will take up
residence at the Queen Elizabeth Hall
from 12 December to 17 January.
Brimming with charm, wit and
spectacular choreography, Top Hat
promises the ultimate festive night out.
Set in a world of Hollywood elegance
and London sophistication, it tells the
story of Jerry Travers, a Broadway star
who falls head over heels for the
stunning model Dale Tremont while
performing in London. Mistaken
identities, romantic misadventures and
glamorous escapades ensue, taking
audiences from Mayfair ballrooms to
sun-soaked Venice – all set to the
timeless songs of Irving Berlin.
The show features some of Berlin’s
iconic tunes, including Cheek to Cheek,
Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Top
Hat, White Tie and Tails, and Puttin’ on
the Ritz. Expect lavish sets, sumptuous
costumes, and a sparkling score that

MAROON 5 TO HEADLINE BST HYDE

American Express presents BST Hyde
Park have announced the next headliner
for 2026; global sensations Maroon 5
will make their Hyde Park debut on
Friday 3 July 2026.
Over the past three decades, Maroon
5 have become one of the defining pop
bands of their generation, fronted by
charismatic lead singer Adam Levine.
Their breakthrough came with 2002’s
Songs About Jane, which took off when
‘This Love’ hit the Top 5 in 2004,
followed by hits like ‘She Will Be Loved’
and ‘Sunday Morning.’ The band’s
follow-up album It Won’t Be Soon Before
Long went multi-platinum, propelled by
the chart-topping ‘Makes Me Wonder.’
Over the years, they have collaborated
with major names including Christina
Aguilera on the globally adored 2011
number one ‘Moves Like Jagger,’ as well
as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion,
Kendrick Lamar, Future and many more.
Joining them are former
collaborators, the GRAMMY®
nominated OneRepublic. Since their
debut, the band has amassed over
5 billion Spotify streams.
Previously announced as headliners
for 2026 are Garth Brooks (Saturday 27
June), Pitbull (Friday 10 July) and Lewis
Capaldi (Saturday 11 July and Sunday
12 July), with many more acts to follow.
