Christ Superstar opened on Broadway in
1971, where it was nominated for five
Tony Awards including Best Original
Score. The original London production
ran for over eight years. By the time it
closed, after 3,358 performances, it had
become the longest-running musical in
West End history at that time.

The smash hit production of Jesus
Christ Superstar, starring Sam Ryder as
Jesus, having concluded its box office
breaking sell out summer season at
The London Palladium in September, is
to extend West End performances for
12 weeks at Theatre Royal Drury Lane
from Friday 16 October to Saturday 9
January ahead of a UK tour in 2027.
As with The London Palladium this
summer, Theatre Royal Drury Lane
audiences will get the opportunity to stand
at the heart of the action, immersed in the
raw energy, power and spectacle of this
legendary rock musical. On-stage
standing tickets place fans inside the story
for an electrifying, up-close experience.
Tyrone Huntley will continue in his
critically acclaimed role of Judas Iscariot;
Desmonda Cathabel is Mary Magdalene;
David Thaxton as Pontius Pilate; and nine
performers sharing the role of King Herod:
Matt Bomer (16 – 31 October); Rob
Brydon (2 – 7 November); Reece
Shearsmith (9 – 14 November); Bob The
Drag Queen (16 – 21 November); Michael
Ball (23 November – 5 December); Simon
Russell Beale (7 – 12 December); Omid

London Dance to the ABBA Arena to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of the
iconic hit Dancing Queen.
ABBA Voyage opened in May 2022 in
the purpose-built ABBA Arena located at
the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in
London. Redefining the boundaries of live
entertainment, this pioneering concert
brings one of the biggest pop acts of all
time, back to the stage. Blending cuttingedge technology, spectacular lighting, and
some of the most beloved songs ever
written, ABBA take to the stage in a whole
new way alongside a ten-piece live band.

‘COME ALIVE!’ is a Circus
Spectacular inspired by the world of
The Greatest Showman featuring
incredible West End talent and aweinspiring international circus acts. It has
extended its run at Empress Museum,
Earl’s Court, until February 2027. The
show includes performances of all of
Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s hit songs
from the 20th Century Fox Motion
Picture including ‘This Is Me’, ‘Rewrite
the Stars’, ‘A Million Dreams’, and more.
All ticket holders are invited to explore
the world of the Empress Museum
before taking their seats in the 700
capacity Big Top.
