DINO SNORES FOR KIDS AT
NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
Dinosaur and nature lovers alike are
in for a treat, as London’s Natural History
Museum reprises its sell-out Dino
Snores for Kids experience: a one-of-akind overnight stay in the heart of the
Museum on Friday 22 August.
Dino Snores for Kids gives families a
chance to explore the Museum after it
closes to the general public, treating
nature fans aged 7-11 to exclusive
after-hours activities.
Arriving at the iconic building in
South Kensington, guests will set up
camp under Hope the blue whale in the
iconic Hintze Hall, or VIP ticket holders
will arrive to a ready-made camp bed by
Sophie the Stegosaurus.
With camping spots secured, visitors
will head out for a night of adventure,
including a show filled with fascinating
facts about the natural world presented
by one of the Museum’s scientists and a
torchlight tour around the Dinosaur
Gallery. Guests will also get to try their
hand at piecing together an imitation
dinosaur skeleton, before tucking into
a bedtime story and finally bedding
down surrounded by the Museum’s
celebrated specimens.
Before the world-famous Museum
opens for the day, visitors will enjoy an
exclusive morning trail around the
famous galleries exploring the natural
world. Tickets from www.nhm.ac.uk
MORE THAN HUMAN AT THE
DESIGN MUSEUM
The Design Museum has launched
a groundbreaking exhibition entitled
‘More Than Human’, exploring the
rapidly growing field of more-thanhuman design. This is the world’s first
major museum exhibition to focus on
how design can support not only
humans but also animals, plants, and
ecosystems. It features over 140 works
by more than 50 global participants,
including new pieces and four major
commissions developed with the
museum's research wing, Future
Observatory.
The exhibition is divided into three
key sections. The first, ‘Being
Landscape,’ repositions humans as part
of the natural world rather than separate
from it. The second, ‘Making with the
World,’ showcases practical and
speculative designs that benefit entire
ecosystems, such as sustainable fishing
traps and artificial reef structures. The
final section, ‘Shifting Perspective,’
encourages viewers to consider how
non-human species perceive and interact
with their environment.
Supporting programming includes
workshops and a symposium bringing
together thought leaders and designers
to explore environmental innovation.
Visit the exhibition at the website:

and tickets.
